Pranay Kumar Verma, the Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka, has stated that India is always willing to help and collaborate with the people of Bangladesh in order to build a stable, prosperous, and forward-thinking society founded on the long-standing relations between the two nations.

Following his meeting with newly appointed Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud on Monday, January 15, at the Foreign Ministry, he made this statement to press.

According to him, they spoke about the digital economy, climate change, and how they could support Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's initiative, Digital Bangladesh. He stated, "We are hopeful and confident that we can accelerate bilateral ties during the next term of government."

The high commissioner reported that they talked about a range of bilateral matters at their initial meeting with the incoming foreign minister.

"On behalf of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and myself, I've come to congratulate him. Our goal is to collaborate closely with Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Verma expressed her optimism that the two nations' relationship will advance under his direction. 

We discussed a number of constructive topics while advancing "Vision 2030." According to Verma, we have discussed the connectivity of power plants, two railway projects, energy pipelines, the taka-rupee exchange, and digital payment systems.

Under the direction of the prime ministers of Bangladesh and India, he continued, ties between the two nations have improved at a rate never seen in the previous ten years.

 Ways to make bilateral ties more focused on the masses were discussed. There was also discussion of some recent concerns between the two countries. Delhi and Dhaka talked about how cooperation may boost economies and how the people of both nations can profit from this development partnership.
