Dhaka, Dec 16 (V7N)- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home from Savar Combined Military Hospital (CMH) after being advised to rest by doctors. His health condition has improved, and he is now in stable condition, according to BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
Fakhrul was taken to CMH earlier in the day following a sudden health issue during the Victory Day commemorations at the National Memorial in Savar. Around 10:20 am on Monday, while paying tribute at the memorial, Fakhrul collapsed after the crowd jostled him. After falling to the ground, he was assisted by fellow leaders and was promptly taken by a media microbus to CMH for treatment.
Shairul Kabir Khan mentioned that Fakhrul is feeling much better now but will undergo some health tests at CMH for further evaluation. He also shared that BNP Standing Committee member AZM Zahid Hossain has been by Fakhrul's side throughout this period.
