Dhaka, Feb 26 (V7N) – BNP Chairperson’s Advisor Zainul Abdin Faruk has alleged that a section is still conspiring to eliminate BNP, but he asserted that such efforts have failed in the past and will fail again.
He made these remarks during a discussion meeting organized by the Working Party at the National Press Club on Wednesday (February 26).
On Political Conspiracies & 'Operation Devil Hunt'
Zainul Abdin Faruk criticized government actions, saying,
"Even though Sheikh Hasina has fled, her loyalists are still looking for opportunities. Instead of focusing on BNP, Operation Devil Hunt should target big criminals."
He also emphasized the need to break the syndicate responsible for soaring commodity prices, urging action to control inflation.
Calls for Early Elections
Addressing the political uncertainty, the BNP leader warned that if elections are delayed, the public may lose trust in the interim government.
"I urge the interim government to hold elections quickly and not create a crisis," he said.
His remarks reflect BNP’s stance on the need for timely elections and concerns over ongoing political developments.
