Dhaka, Mar 15 (V7N) – Yasin Ferdous Murad, President of Dhaka District Jubo Dal, has warned that public frustration may turn into anger if elections are not held soon.

Speaking at an iftar mahfil organized by Rouyail Union BNP in Dhamrai on Saturday, Murad said:

"People have not been able to vote for 17 years. They are eagerly waiting to exercise their right. If the government continues to delay elections, people may once again rise in protest."

He accused the Awami League of denying voting rights for over a decade and urged the government to take public sentiment seriously.

Murad emphasized the importance of national unity and organization, stating:

"If we remain united and well-organized, no conspiracy can harm Bangladesh. We must work together to build a just and humane society for future generations."

The iftar mahfil was presided over by Idris Ali, former senior vice-president of Rouyail Union BNP. Other local leaders present included:
