Dhaka, Mar 21 (V7N) – BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has stated that the Awami League can continue its political activities under new leadership, provided it removes those responsible for genocide and apologizes to the people.

Speaking at an event in Dakshinkhan on Friday, where Eid materials were distributed among the underprivileged, Rizvi emphasized that those involved in genocide and corruption must face justice before any reconciliation can take place.

He further stressed the need for re-establishing democracy through free and fair elections, ensuring that the next elected government implements the recommendations of the Reform Commission.
