Dhaka, May 16 (V7N) – The National Citizens Party (NCP) has officially launched its youth wing, ‘Jatiya Jubo Shakti,’ unveiling a 131-member convening committee at a grand ceremony held on Friday afternoon at Abrar Fahad Avenue in Gulistan, Dhaka.

At the event, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari formally announced the names of the newly appointed leaders of the committee. Among them:

  • Advocate Md. Tariqul Islam has been named Convener

  • Dr. Jahedul Islam appointed as Member Secretary

  • Engineer Farhad Sohel declared the Chief Organizer

The launch event was also attended by NCP Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain and Joint Chief Coordinator Hannan Masaud, who expressed their optimism about the role the youth wing would play in mobilizing young people for national development and political reform.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the national anthem, setting a solemn and patriotic tone. Earlier in the day, enthusiastic youth leaders and activists arrived at the venue in vibrant processions, signaling growing grassroots support for the party’s youth platform.

Party insiders stated that the formation of Jatiya Jubo Shakti aims to engage young citizens in political, social, and developmental activities across the country, as part of the NCP's broader strategy to revitalize political participation among the youth.
