Dhaka, June 11 (V7N) — The National Citizens Party’s (NCP) recently launched crowdfunding campaign, titled “Your Donation for the Future of Bangladesh,” has received a remarkable response from citizens across the country during the Eid holidays.

Since its official launch on June 5, a total of 3,265 people have contributed generously, collectively donating 1,381,810 taka, confirmed SM Saif Mostafiz, the party’s Joint Member Secretary (Treasurer), in a Facebook post on Wednesday (June 10).

According to Mostafiz, the donations came through multiple channels: 766,000 taka via the NCP’s official website, 498,214 taka through City Bank, and 117,596 taka through Islami Bank.

Expressing gratitude to Bangladeshis living abroad, Mostafiz noted that many expatriates have also shown interest in contributing. He assured that after completing necessary registrations and formalities, overseas donors will soon be able to contribute directly through the NCP website (donate.ncpbd.org).

In his post, he thanked all donors and promised that further support opportunities will be promoted through the party’s website and other media channels in the near future.

Speaking to Jamuna Television, Mostafiz emphasized transparency: “We will provide regular updates to ensure that all public donations received are used for transparent political activities. Detailed reports on crowdfunding, income, and expenditures will gradually be made available automatically on the NCP website.”

The financial policy and crowdfunding activities were announced by NCP Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain on June 4 at the party’s temporary office in Bangla Motor, Dhaka. The initiative officially began on June 5.
