Dhaka, Aug 15 (V7N) – BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has cautioned that uncertainty will prevail until the upcoming national election is concluded, alleging that conspiracies are underway to sabotage the process.

Speaking at a Milad Mahfil held at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan on Friday morning to mark BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s birthday, Gayeshwar urged party leaders and activists to stay alert and not fall into “traps” set by adversaries.

He noted that in previous years, Khaleda Zia’s birthday was not celebrated due to differing opinions and criticisms. “After a long struggle, Khaleda Zia has become the guardian of the nation, and she continues to fight for democracy,” he added.
