Dhaka, Feb 05 (V7N) — BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will visit Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, and Nilphamari on February 7 as part of the ongoing election campaign for the 13th National Parliament Election.
A message signed by the BNP Chairman’s Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar outlined the detailed tour schedule on Thursday.
Tarique Rahman is scheduled to depart for Saidpur by plane at 10:00 am, and from there will travel to Thakurgaon district town by helicopter. He will address a public meeting at Thakurgaon District High School ground at 11:30 am.
Following the Thakurgaon program, he will travel to Nilphamari and speak at a public meeting at Nilphamari Municipality ground at 1:30 pm.
The final stop of the day will be Dinajpur, where Tarique Rahman will deliver a speech at an election rally at Birampur Government College Ground at 2:30 pm. After completing the three public events, he will return to Dhaka by plane at 5:00 pm, arriving around 6:00 pm.
Earlier, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, BNP Standing Committee member and candidate for Dinajpur-6, had confirmed Tarique Rahman’s visit to the three northern districts during a meeting at the Dinajpur district BNP office on Wednesday.
