Patuakhali, Feb 07 (V7N)- Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Rezaul Karim said that groups advocating the scales today are motivated by self-interest, influenced by America and India. "We don’t want to see American justice, we don’t want to see Indian justice. We want to see Islamic justice," he stated.

He made the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the election rally of party candidate Abdul Malek Anwari in Patuakhali-2 constituency on Saturday afternoon.

Rezaul Karim criticized the BNP and Jamaat, saying they do not plan to run a state based on Islam but according to conventional systems. He promised that if the Islami Andolan wins, the state will be governed according to Islamic principles.

He further claimed that conventional law has made the country a global leader in corruption multiple times, leading to money laundering and the creation of foreign assets like Begumpara. He emphasized that an Islamic government would prevent innocent citizens from fleeing the country.

The party leader urged people of all classes and professions to vote for the hand fan symbol, stating that each vote would strengthen the force of Islam in the country.
