Patuakhali, Sep 02 (V7N) - Alhaj ABM Mosharraf Hossain, the BNP’s Secretary for Training, stated that justice will be administered for all crimes, including enforced disappearances and murders, within Bangladesh. He made these remarks as the chief guest at a public reception held at the upazila administration grounds in Kollapara, Patuakhali, on Sunday at 4 PM.
 
Hossain expressed that, after 17 years, he finally has the opportunity to speak freely before the people. He criticized the previous government under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, accusing it of keeping the country under suppression out of fear of public and student unrest.
 
He also cautioned BNP members against engaging in any forms of arbitration or extortion, warning that anyone found involved in such activities would face expulsion from the party.
 
The public reception and rally, organized by the Upazila and Municipal BNP branches to welcome ABM Mosharraf Hossain, was chaired by Upazila BNP President Haji Humayun Sikder. Notable speakers included Patuakhali District BNP Secretary Snehasish Sorkar Kutti. Special guests were Patuakhali District BNP member Md. Moshtak Ahmed Pinu, Rangabali Upazila BNP President Abdul Rahman Faraji, Mahipur Thana BNP President Abdul Jalil Howlader, General Secretary Adv. Md. Shahjahan Parvez, Kollapara Municipal BNP President Gazi Md. Faruk, Kuakata Municipal BNP President A. Aziz Musulli, and General Secretary Md. Matiur Rahman.
 
The event was organized by Upazila BNP General Secretary Adv. Hafizur Rahman Chunnu and Municipal BNP General Secretary Musa Tauhid Nannu Munshi.
 
Before the event, thousands of BNP leaders and activists from various unions in the upazila assembled in large numbers, transforming the upazila administration field into a large crowd.
