Dhaka, Sep 21 (V7N) – BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman stated yesterday that the party's movement will persist until the voting rights of the people are fully ensured, with the ultimate goal of establishing an accountable government in Bangladesh.

"We have freed the country from dictatorship, but this is only a small step towards our larger objective. We must secure the people's right to vote and form a government that is held accountable," he said while addressing a memorial event virtually in Sirajganj.

Tarique stressed that the BNP's ongoing movement will continue until the voting rights of the people are fully guaranteed.
