A pregnant woman and his husband died in a landslide midnight 21 June while they were sleeping in their house Badshaghona in Cox's Bazar area region.

The death are Maimuna Akter, 21, and her husband Anowar Hossain 27.

Local residents said, there were moderate to heavy rainfall since midnight. Maimuna Akter  and Anwar Hossain went to sleep after having dinner. at that time landslide they are died.

After the incident, local residents rushed to the scene upon hearing Maimuna's screams and dug out the couple from under the mud.

They were then taken to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared them dead.
