Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud has affirmed that the Bangladeshi government, as the host country of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), will persist in its support for the university's advancement, encompassing both infrastructure expansion and academic initiatives.

During a meeting on March 13 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam provided the Foreign Minister with a comprehensive overview of IUT, including its history, structure, governance, academic activities, budgetary status, and future plans.

Expressing admiration for the University's consistent performance, the Foreign Minister commended IUT's efforts in fostering a favorable learning environment for nearly three thousand students from 24 OIC countries. He expressed hope that IUT would continue its commendable efforts to position itself as a beacon of Islamic unity, offering education in cutting-edge curricula facilitated by well-equipped faculties.
