In commemoration of this momentous event, the ruling Awami League has organized a series of elaborate programs. Party leaders will extend their greetings to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her residence, Ganabhaban, on Friday morning.
 
Later in the day, a discussion will take place at the Dhaka District AL Bhaban, chaired by AL Presidium Member Engineer Mosharraf Hossain. National leaders and intellectuals will convene to reflect on Sheikh Hasina's return and her contributions to the nation.
 
Additionally, special prayers will be offered at mosques, temples, churches, and pagodas across the country, reaffirming the nation's unity and solidarity.
 
The AL's relief and social welfare subcommittee has also organized extensive programs to mark the occasion. On Thursday food distribution among orphans at Tejgaon's Rahmate Alam Islam Mission orphanage commenced, with prominent figures such as Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal in attendance.
 
Today, food distribution will continue at various orphanages, including those in Azimpur, Mohammadpur, and Badda, among others. The subcommittee members will ensure that orphans across different districts receive their share of support and care.
 
On May 18, Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud will continue the spirit of philanthropy by distributing food among the inmates of Chattogram's Kadam Mobarak Orphanage.
