Sarah Cooke, the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, emphasized the importance of cooperating to fortify ties between Bangladesh and the UK on Wednesday.

She also spoke with Dr. Hasan Mahmud, the foreign minister, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about how they could collaborate on issues like migration, climate change, and Rohingya care.

According to the British High Commissioner, they also talked about measures to improve the two nations' security cooperation as well as economic and investment-related matters.

She declared that they will keep having positive conversations on democracy and human rights issues with political parties and the government of Bangladesh.
