Kushtia-2 lawmaker Kamarul Arefin sustained injuries after being hit by a CNG-run autorickshaw near the National Parliament. The accident occurred around 9 pm on Monday while crossing the road. He was initially treated at the Parliament medical center and later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Arefin received three stitches on his right elbow but was discharged after CT scan and X-ray reports showed no severe injuries.
