Dhaka, Mar 02 (V7N) – Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) has launched a special Ramadan sales initiative in 32 key locations across Dhaka metropolis to provide essential commodities at reduced prices throughout the holy month.

Popular Fresh brand products, including soybean oil, mustard oil, sugar, sugarcane rice, and powdered milk, will be directly sold to consumers at affordable rates in high-traffic areas like Karwan Bazar, New Market, and Motijheel.

The Department of Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) and the Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) have welcomed MGI’s effort, highlighting that it helps ease the financial burden on consumers during Ramadan.Key Highlights of MGI’s Ramadan Initiative:

Senior GM of MGI, Mujibur Rahman, stated,
"Meghna Group is committed to ensuring that consumers get their daily essentials at reasonable prices throughout Ramadan."

Meanwhile, Alim Akhtar Khan, Director General of DNCRP, noted,
"This initiative, taken at the request of the Ministry of Commerce, is a relief for consumers, helping them save money in these difficult times."
