Dhaka, Mar 27 (V7N) – On the fourth day of the Eid holiday exodus, travelers are leaving Dhaka with ease and relief. Kamalapur Railway Station is operating smoothly without any schedule disruptions, allowing passengers to enjoy a hassle-free journey home. However, the pressure on bus services remains low.
A visit to Kamalapur Railway Station on Thursday (March 27) revealed a peaceful environment, with no excessive crowds or chaos. Although the number of passengers remains consistent, travelers are happy with the smooth travel arrangements. Many have expressed hope that this trend of organized train services will continue in future Eid seasons.
Station Manager Shahadat Hossain confirmed that special safety measures have been implemented across the station. Railway authorities are also on high alert to prevent the black market sale of train tickets, ensuring fair access to tickets for all passengers.
Unlike the railway stations, bus counters are yet to experience a surge in passengers. Bus operators believe that since many people prefer the comfort and reliability of train travel, the demand for bus services has remained low. However, they expect passenger numbers to increase once the government-declared Eid holidays begin.
For now, the Eid journey continues smoothly, with travelers enjoying a stress-free departure from the capital.
