Paturia, Jun 05 (V7N) – Despite the surge in homebound travelers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, ferry services on the Paturia-Daulatdia river route are operating smoothly, with no significant passenger suffering reported on Thursday.
Although vehicle traffic increased considerably since morning, especially motorcycles, the overall situation at the piers remained under control, thanks to proper management and law enforcement presence.
Many travelers were seen crossing the Padma River via both ferries and launches, heading home to celebrate Eid with their families. The combination of different modes of transport and timely deployment of law enforcement personnel has helped maintain order and ensure the safety of passengers.
Authorities on the ground have confirmed that all ferry crossings are functioning normally and are prepared to handle any further increase in passenger load as the Eid holidays approach.
