Dhaka, Nov 01 (V7N)- Job seekers protesting alleged discrimination in the 43rd and 44th BCS examinations staged a demonstration at Shahbagh on Saturday. The protestors raised slogans and expressed grievances against the Chief Secretary, calling for urgent reforms in non-cadre recruitment.

During the program, they referred to the Chief Advisor as an international personality and demanded that recommendations for non-cadre posts be made at higher priority starting from the 43rd and 44th BCS exams.

The protesters issued three key demands:

  1. Prompt publication of re-results for the 44th BCS, including contested posts.

  2. Immediate gazette notification of the Non-Cadre Recruitment Rules 2025 with the Chief Advisor’s approval, and recommendations for non-cadre posts from all ongoing BCS exams.

  3. Expedited recommendations for requested non-cadre positions for 43rd BCS candidates.
