Dhaka, August 11 – A shooting incident occurred at the head office of Islami Bank Plc. in Dilkusha, Motijheel, leaving five people injured, with three of them in critical condition. The attack took place on Sunday in front of the bank's headquarters.

According to eyewitnesses, employees of Islami Bank were engaged in a protest when unknown assailants opened fire on them. The sudden attack resulted in three people being shot. The situation escalated as the miscreants attempted to flee, but were chased by other officers present at the scene. Despite the chase, the attackers managed to escape.

The injured individuals have been rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities are investigating the incident to identify the perpetrators and understand the motive behind the attack.
