Natore, Sep 06 (V7N) - In Natore, a joint forces operation led to the recovery of an illegal firearm and ammunition from the residence of the acting president of the Youth League. On the morning of September 6, around 4 AM, a one-shot gun and two rounds of ammunition were found at the home of Bashirur Rahman Khan Ehiya Chowdhury, the acting president of the Youth League in Kanai Khali Mohalla. Ehiya Chowdhury is the son of the late Swadar Chowdhury, also known as Akhi Chowdhury, from the same area.
 
Shafiqul Islam, the officer-in-charge at Natore Sadar Police Station, explained that the raid was part of a broader operation targeting illegal weapons and drugs, and aimed at arresting those involved. During the raid, which took place early in the morning at Ehiya Chowdhury's residence, the authorities discovered the firearm and ammunition in his bedroom. No individuals were present at the time. A case has been registered at Natore Sadar Police Station in connection with the incident.
