Cox's Bazar, Sep 06 (V7N) - In a coordinated raid conducted early Friday (September 6) in the Pmkhali region of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, authorities detained eight individuals and recovered a range of weapons and ammunition. The haul included two foreign pistols, three single-shot guns, two LG pistols, 48 rounds of ammunition, three magazines, and several locally-made weapons.
 
"Eight individuals arrested and a cache of weapons seized during a joint operation in Cox's Bazar. The detainees include Kalim Ullah, Khorshed Alam, Mohammad Hasan Sharif Laden, Mohammad Shahin, Mohammad Mizan, Abdul Malek, Abdul Hai, and Abdul Aziz."
 
The arrested individuals are Kalim Ullah (son of the late Kabir Ahmed), Khorshed Alam (son of the late Forkan Ahmed), Mohammad Hasan Sharif Laden (son of Shafiullah), Mohammad Shahin (son of Mohammad Ali), Mohammad Mizan (son of Mahabullah), Abdul Malek (son of the late Kabir Ahmed), Abdul Hai (son of Mahmudul Haque), and Abdul Aziz.
 
Md. Abul Kalam Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Director (Law and Media) of RAB-15 in Cox's Bazar, confirmed the details of the operation.
