Barguna, Jan 17, (V7N) - The Pir of Sarshina Sharif and Amir of Hizbul Allah, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shah Abu Nasar Nesaruddin Ahmad Hussain (May Allah sanctify his soul), has said that while religious gatherings and sermons (waz) are being held across various parts of society, the primary purpose of these gatherings is to guide lost and misguided individuals onto the correct path. Unfortunately, it is disheartening that despite the increasing number of gatherings, they are not leading people towards proper actions or guidance.
Some so-called scholars and speakers are entertaining the audience with jokes, making comparisons with actors and actresses, and even incorporating lyrics from songs. This results in a loss of the seriousness and impact of the gathering. It is important to remember that the aim of these gatherings is to guide people towards righteousness, and the purpose is to help individuals find the right path. The sanctity and seriousness of such gatherings should never be compromised.
Hazrat Pir Sahib continued, addressing the audience: "It is increasingly common to see the name of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) being belittled at various sermons. His honor and status are being undermined, and some speakers are misleading the people through false interpretations. We must be cautious and protect ourselves and our families from such harmful influences."
The statement was made during a special Waz Mahfil held on Wednesday night at the Patharghata High School field in the Patharghata upazila of Barisal district. The event was held in remembrance of the late Pir Sahib of Sarshina Sharif, Hazrat Maulana Shah Mohammad Mohebbullah (RA), and was organized for the offering of rewards (Isale Thawab). Hazrat Pir Sahib made this statement as the chief guest at the event.
Other speakers at the event included the Senior Deputy Amir of Bangladesh Jamiat-e-Hizbul Allah, Hazrat Maulana Shah Abu Bakr Mohammad Saleh Nesarullah, Deputy Amir Hazrat Maulana Mirza Noorur Rahman Beg, Organizing Secretary Maulana Mohammad Hemayet Bin Taiyeb, Mufti Maulana Mohammad Haidar Hussain from Sarshina Darul Sunnat Jamia-e-Nesaria, and Muhaddith Maulana Muhibbullah Al Mahmood.
In the concluding part of the event, Hazrat Pir Sahib prayed for the well-being and peace of the nation, the Muslim Ummah, and especially for the forgiveness of the deceased of the region, leading the final supplication (Dua) for the community.
