Syed Mohammad Shahjahan, in his speech, stated, "Martyr President Ziaur Rahman was the proponent of multi-party democracy in Bangladesh. He played an unmatched role in the nation’s development, and his name is forever written in the hearts of the people. However, the previous Awami League government attempted to distort history and undermine Ziaur Rahman’s legacy. Now, these forces have been rejected by the people."

He further said, "BNP is a party of the people. The sooner elections are held, the better it will be for the nation. The defeated evil forces are still conspiring. For the past 17 years, the people have not been able to exercise their voting rights in a democratic environment. Now, the people are eagerly waiting to vote, and millions of people across the country are eagerly awaiting the return of our acting chairman, Tarique Rahman."

The session concluded with a special prayer for the forgiveness of Martyr President Ziaur Rahman and the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia.
