Habiganj, Jan 22, (V7N) -The annual sports and cultural competition at Sayeduddin College, Madhabpur, concluded with the distribution of prizes among the winners.

The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Zahid Bin Kashem, the President of the College Management Committee and Upazila Executive Officer. The event featured Alhaj Syed Md. Shahjahan, donor member and former Upazila Chairman, as the chief guest. In his opening speech, Principal Md. Zahir Hossain welcomed the attendees and congratulated the participants.

The ceremony was attended by notable guests, including: Shamsul Islam Kamal, President of Madhabpur Upazila BNP, Hamidur Rahman Hamdu, General Secretary of Madhabpur Upazila BNP, Members and local leaders such as Parvez Hossain Chowdhury, Chairman Mahbubur Rahman Sohag, and Professors Nazrul Islam, Zahirul Islam, and Nasrin Akhter.

Municipal BNP leaders Golap Khan, Alauddin Al Roni, and Masukur Rahman, along with Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Sumon Chowdhury and Former Mayor Habibur Rahman Manik.

The event was a vibrant display of athletic and cultural talent, with strong participation from students. Emdadul Haque Milon, coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, and former head Saiful Haque Mridha were also present, adding significance to the occasion.The competition aimed to encourage youth participation in sports and cultural activities, fostering a spirit of unity and excellence among students.
