Khulna, Mar 04 (V7N) – To combat climate change and promote sustainable development, the ‘Mangrove Hackathon: Nature-based Innovation for Climate Action’ was held at the CSS EVA Center in Khulna.

The event was jointly organized by the Center for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University, and Brighters, with support from OAB Foundation, Sharub Youth Team, Renew Earth, and Fight for Coastal Rights and Justice. The Nabpallab project, funded by the British government and managed by QUAR, facilitated the hackathon.

The hackathon featured 30 participants from 10 teams, who showcased their nature-based innovative solutions for climate resilience. Following a rigorous evaluation, the top projects were awarded a total of Tk 15,000 in prize money.
