RAJSHAHI, Mar 12, (V7N) – A farewell reception was organized for Imtiaz Ahmed Shimul, Taxation Officer (Revenue) of the Revenue Department of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), on the occasion of his retirement.

The event was held Thursday morning at the City Hall auditorium of Nagar Bhaban. RCC Secretary Sohel Rana attended as chief guest, while the programme was presided over by Chief Revenue Officer Abu Saleh Md. Nur‑E‑Saeed.

Special speeches were delivered by Executive Magistrate Nayan Kumar Saha, Supervising Engineer Ahmad Al‑Moin Parag, and Budget and Accounts Officer Shafiqul Islam Khan.

Revenue Officer Sarwar Hossain Khokon, Taxation Officer Md. Mohiuddin, Deputy Chief Tax Assessors Mohiuddin Mukul and Md. Mizanur Rahman Bullet, and License Inspector Md. Sekendar Ali shared memories of Shimul’s long professional journey.

On behalf of all branches of the Revenue Department, the retiring officer was presented with a crest, floral greetings, and gifts as tokens of respect.
