Cox's Bazar June 9,(V7N)- Seeing my son, it feels like I've come back to life. Without my mother, my son doesn't recognize me. After 11 months, today my son Joynal is returning. I'm overwhelmed with happiness. The government is bringing my son back. Today, Rasheda Begum, a mother's eager wait is over," said BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority) Ghat.
 
Rasheda, the mother, expressed, "I got news about my son before Eid. Since then, I've been sending money for various expenses for my son. So far, I've spent eighty thousand taka. I came running as soon as I heard my son was coming to Cox's Bazar."
 
She had been anxiously awaiting since yesterday, expressing, "I was waiting for the morning, hoping to embrace my son again. As soon as I heard that my son was being brought to Cox's Bazar, I couldn't contain my joy."
 
Another relative, Rasheda Akhtar, informed, "Early in the morning, my brother Mumim Rashid informed us that he is coming to Cox's Bazar. Hearing this news, everyone in the family rushed here. There hasn't been any meal since morning. Six people from the same area were detained together."
 
For the third time, today, Sunday, 134 Myanmar refugees under Bangladesh's shelter, along with 45 Bangladeshi detainees, are returning from Myanmar. This morning, officials from both countries were present at the BIWTA Ghat in Cox's Bazar for their handover process.
