Baghaichhari, August 23 — The 54 BGB Battalion and 27 BGB Marisya Zone have mobilized to support flood-affected families in Rangamati's Baghaichhari Upazila. Starting Friday morning, BGB members have been distributing food and medical services to thousands of displaced hill and Bengali families taking refuge in various shelters.

Lt. Col. Asaduzzaman, Commander of the 54 BGB Battalion, emphasized that the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has long been a symbol of trust in both border security and public welfare. He noted that the distribution of food and medical supplies has provided significant relief to those affected by the floods.

He also assured that BGB will continue its humanitarian efforts in the future, reinforcing their commitment to supporting communities in distress.
