Pabna, Jan 30 (V7N) - The Raja Chandra Nath and Babu Shambhu Nath Model Pilot High School in Chhatmohar, Pabna, recently celebrated its Education and Cultural Week.
On January 26, the school organized an annual Milad Mahfil on its premises. On January 27, the school held a welcome ceremony for new students and cultural competitions.
On Wednesday, January 29, the school hosted a full-day annual sports competition at the Chhatmohar Baluchar playing field. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem. The sports competition was inaugurated by former MP of Pabna-3, K.M. Anwarul Islam. The ceremony opened with a dance performance by the school’s students.
The event was presided over by Chhatmohar Upazila Executive Officer Musa Naser Chowdhury, and was organized under the supervision of the school’s acting headmaster, Md. Ataur Rahman. Special guests at the event included former Upazila Chairman and former Secretary of Upazila BNP, Hasadul Islam Hira, Chhatmohar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Monjurul Alam, President of Chhatmohar Municipal BNP Asaduzzaman Arshad, General Secretary Touhidul Islam Taijul, Organizing Secretary and General Secretary of Chhatmohar Business Association Sheikh Ziarul Haque Sintu, former President of Municipal BNP A.M. Zakaria, former Organizational Secretary of Upazila BNP, Principal Abdur Rahim Kalu, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Magreb Ali, President of Chhatmohar Municipal Jamaat Solaiman Hossain, President of Chhatmohar Press Club Helalur Rahman Jewel, former President Rokibur Rahman Tukun, and local dignitaries.
Throughout the day, students participated in various events for boys' and girls' groups. At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded prizes by the guests.
