Dhaka, Feb 19 (V7N)- The official schedule for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations has been released. Signed by Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, Chairman of the Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee and Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller, the routine was published today.
According to the schedule, the theoretical exams will start on June 26 and continue until August 10, followed by practical exams from August 11 to August 21.
Important Guidelines for Candidates:
- Candidates must take their seats 30 minutes before the exam begins.
- MCQ exams will be held first, followed by the creative/compositional (CQ) exam.
Timing:
- MCQ (30 marks): 30 minutes | CQ (70 marks): 2 hours 30 minutes
- MCQ (25 marks): 25 minutes | CQ (50 marks): 2 hours 35 minutes
- No breaks between MCQ and CQ exams.
For morning exams (10 AM start):
- Answer sheets and OMR sheets distributed at 9:30 AM.
- MCQ question papers at 10:00 AM.
- MCQ answer sheets collected, and CQ question papers distributed at 10:30 AM.
For afternoon exams (2 PM start):
- Answer sheets and OMR sheets distributed at 1:30 PM.
- MCQ question papers at 2:00 PM.
- MCQ answer sheets collected, and CQ question papers distributed at 2:30 PM.
Candidates must collect admit cards from their institutions before the exam. Ordinary scientific calculators are allowed, but programming calculators are prohibited.
