Rajshahi, Oct 10 (V7N) – Candidates for the Rajshahi University Central Students’ Union (RUCSU) elections are continuing their campaigns across the campus, even on weekends. Although Friday (October 10) marked a quieter day due to the weekend, candidates were still seen engaging with students and visiting key spots including the residential halls, transport market, and Shaheed Minar premises.

They are pledging to address various student issues and promising to bring positive change to campus life. The campaign period will continue until October 14, while voting is scheduled for October 16.

A total of 247 candidates are contesting for 23 posts, with about 29,000 students eligible to vote. This year’s RUCSU election marks a historic return — the first to be held in 35 years.
