Renowned director Giyas Uddin Selim's latest cinematic masterpiece, "Kajalrekha," has been making waves in Dhallywood, captivating audiences with its compelling narrative set 400 years ago. Released during Eid-ul-Fitr, the film has garnered widespread acclaim, particularly for the stellar performance of Shariful Raj and the captivating presence of the talented Mandira Chakraborty as the anointed heroine.

As the film's lead actors, Raj and Chakraborty have been spotted together at various promotional events, sharing moments of camaraderie and laughter. However, rumors of a romantic relationship between the two have been circulating, prompting Chakraborty to address the speculation in a recent interview on a private television channel.

When asked about the rumored romance, Chakraborty dismissed the notion, emphasizing that she and Raj share a strong friendship and professional rapport. "We are very good friends," she clarified. "There is no chance of love between us." Chakraborty explained that their friendship blossomed during the promotional events for the film, as they traveled together to different locations.

Reflecting on their initial interactions during the filming process in 2022, Chakraborty noted that Raj was reserved and did not engage in much conversation with her at the time. However, she emphasized that their dynamic has evolved since then, attributing their close bond to their shared experiences during the promotional tour.

"Working together and spending time traveling to various places naturally fosters a sense of camaraderie," Chakraborty explained. "It's normal to develop a strong bond with a colleague under such circumstances."

"Kajalrekha" features an ensemble cast, including Sadia Ayman, Khairul Bashar, Rafiat Rashid Mithila, and Iresh Zaker, alongside Raj and Chakraborty. With its captivating storyline and stellar performances, the film has solidified its place as one of Dhallywood's latest blockbuster hits, captivating audiences and critics alike.
