Dhaka, Feb 12, 2026 (V7N) – Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman are scheduled to cast their ballots Thursday at the Gulshan Model School and College polling centre in the capital.
According to the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing, Yunus will vote at 10 a.m., while Rahman is expected between 9:30 and 10 a.m., his media wing confirmed. Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed will also vote at the same centre around noon.
Election authorities said 127.3 million voters across 299 constituencies are eligible to participate, including 64.6 million men, 62.7 million women, and over 1,200 third-gender voters. Nearly 800,000 officials.
