DHAKA, July 13 (v7n): The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has hosted a high-level symposium to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), highlighting a renewed era of bilateral ties and robust inter-party cooperation between Beijing and Dhaka.
Delivering the keynote address, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen expounded on the strategic vision recently outlined by CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping, emphasizing the historic milestone of the party and its commitment to shared global development.
Ambassador Yao Wen highlighted that the bilateral relationship received a significant boost during Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's recent state visit to China, where the CPC and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The Chinese envoy reiterated that the CPC stands fully prepared to collaborate with all friendly political entities in Bangladesh to seamlessly execute the strategic consensus established by the top leadership of both nations.
Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed Beijing's keen interest in deepening bilateral dialogues on state governance models while expanding practical, mutually beneficial cooperation across key economic, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
Attending dignitaries warmly congratulated the CPC on its 105th anniversary, expressing high optimism that the joint efforts will steadily advance a robust China-Bangladesh community with a shared future in this new geopolitical era.
The symposium drew a highly diverse gathering of prominent political leaders, including Prime Minister's Adviser Md. Ismail Zabihullah, BNP National Executive Committee Vice Chairman Altaf Hossain Choudhury, MP, and Jamaat-e-Islami Central Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof. Mujib Rahman, MP.
Other high-profile attendees included National Congress Party (NCP) Spokesperson Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, alongside leading academics and think-tank representatives, collectively underscoring Bangladesh’s unified political consensus on strengthening ties with Beijing.
