DHAKA, Aug 11,  (V7N) - Chief Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury today administered the oath of office to four newly appointed members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

The government on August 6 appointed Dr Md Ferdous Hossain, Mohammad Ali, Md Nazrul Islam and Yasmin Gafur as new members of the BPSC.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge at 4:30 pm.

According to the appointment notification, the new members will serve for five years from the date of joining or until they reach the age of 65, whichever comes earlier.

With the appointment of the four new members, the total number of PSC members now stands at 21, including the chairman.
