Chairman of Jatiya Party unit Raushan Ershad has announced the council of the party on March 9. Roshan Ershad made this announcement at a press conference at her home in Gulshan on Sunday afternoon.

She said, our beloved organization Jatiya Party is now in dire straits. In view of the demands of the leaders and activists to get out of this situation and reorganize the party, I am announcing the organization of the 10th National Council on March 9 by accepting the responsibility of the chairman of the party.

She also said that everyone should bring back the vitality of Jatiya Party. Jatiya Party is working to restore the country's democracy. The Conference Implementation Committee is being announced today. Kazi Feroz Rashid will be the convener and Syed Abu Hossain Babla will be the co-convener.

Raushan also said, countless leaders and workers from all over have stood by me. We all want to restore vitality to the National Party by presenting a beautiful National Conference. Because the need of national party in the arena of politics for the country and the nation is now essential.

She said, we are struggling to strengthen fair democracy and economic security in the country. The main area of practice of democracy in a political party is the timely national conference of the party. Jatiya Party's term of organizing convention has long expired. Now I have formed a conference implementation committee to successfully complete the conference that we have announced for the national conference program. 

She also said that until the completion of the 10th National Conference of the Jatiya Party to be held on March 9, Kazi Feroz Rashid will serve as convener, Syed Abu Hossain Babla will be the co-convener, Golam Sarwar Milon will be the joint convener, member Rafiqul Islam Sentu will be the secretary and Ad. Ziaul Haque Mridha. Besides, General Secretary of Jatiya Party's Central Committee, Presidium members, Advisors, Vice Chairman, Joint Secretary General, Editorial Board, Central Executive Committee members and District Committee President, General Secretary, Member Secretary will be included as members of the Conference Implementation Committee in order.
