Dhaka, Nov 19 (V7N)- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has urged party leaders and activists not to use the titles "national leader" and "state leader" in reference to him. He made the statement while virtually addressing a workshop organized by BNP at the Diploma Engineers Institute in Dhaka on Tuesday.

During his speech, Tarique Rahman emphasized the need for accountability in governance and the restoration of people's political and economic rights. Criticizing the Awami League government's alleged mismanagement, he said:
"During the Awami League era, there has been no accountability, leading to disappearances, murders, money laundering, looting, and late-night elections. To rectify these issues, there is no alternative to fair voting."

Tarique Rahman warned about ongoing conspiracies in the country, urging BNP activists to remain vigilant. "A conspiracy is taking place somewhere in the country. We must make people aware and keep them united with us," he stated.

Rahman reiterated BNP’s openness to reform, stating that the party is willing to consider suggestions beyond its existing 31-point reform agenda if they prove beneficial.
"If a better reform proposal comes beyond the 31-point BNP agenda, we will accept it," he assured.
The workshop is part of BNP's ongoing efforts to engage party members and strategize for the upcoming elections. Tarique Rahman’s remarks reflect a focus on party unity, electoral reforms, and public engagement as critical components of BNP's political strategy.

The BNP leadership is gearing up for the challenges ahead, signaling its readiness to address public grievances and opposition to the current administration.
