Dhaka, Jan 28 (V7N)— BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has emphasised the importance of staying connected with the people, stating that a political party isolated from public support holds no value. He made these remarks during an online workshop with BNP leaders and activists from Khulna, Satkhira, and Bagerhat districts on Tuesday.

Rahman highlighted that the people are the ultimate judges of a party's popularity. “The people will decide whether BNP is popular or not. Therefore, we must stand with the people and ensure their support,” he said. He urged patience and collective effort to address the challenges facing the nation, adding, “No one can solve all problems alone.”

Rahman reaffirmed BNP's commitment to political and economic stability, stating that the party would not tolerate any wrongdoing within its ranks. “BNP will not maintain relations with leaders and activists of any level who do wrong or engage in bad practices. The people have faith in BNP, and those who jeopardise that trust will face consequences.”

He concluded by encouraging BNP leaders and activists to prioritise the welfare of the people and maintain their trust as the foundation of the party’s strength.
