Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N) – Jamaat-e-Islami’s central shura member Professor Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan has urged party leaders and activists to work tirelessly to ensure the victory of candidates across the country in the upcoming 13th national parliamentary elections.

Speaking at a rally of Feni Sadar residents organized by the Feni Sadar Unnayan Parishad at the Diploma Engineers Institute in Dhaka on Tuesday night, Bhuiyan emphasized that winning requires a collective approach. “Thinking only about one’s own seat is not enough. To ensure victory, we must focus on the overall election situation across the country and maintain close contact with the voters,” he said.

The Jamaat leader warned against what he described as attempts to deprive citizens of their right to vote. “Those who try to take away the people’s right to vote will be resisted, along with their supporters,” he declared.

Referring to the July mass uprising, Bhuiyan said the new generation has taken an oath to build a new Bangladesh. “Their sacrifices cannot be allowed to go in vain,” he added.
