Dhaka, Nov 07 (V7N) — Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that the youth will play a vital role in building the Bangladesh of the future.

He made the remarks while addressing a reception program for DUCSU elected representatives, organized by Islami Chhatrashibir at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center on Friday (November 7) morning.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the youth who have driven out “elephants as big as mountains” through the Durbar Movement will be the ones to build the Bangladesh of the future.

At the same event, DUCSU Vice President Sadiq Kayem stated that the “business of the Liberation War and July” will not continue in the new Bangladesh. He also warned that vetoing the current reform proposal could bring consequences worse than those faced by fascist regimes.
