Dhaka, Dec 12 (V7N) — Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has issued new directives for party officials and workers at all levels following the announcement of the schedule for the 13th National Parliament election.

He made the call through a post on his verified Facebook page at around 7 am on Friday (December 12).

In his post, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman wrote:
“The schedule for the upcoming thirteenth parliamentary elections has been announced on Thursday (December 11) evening. Welcome. We are ready for all reasonable cooperation to make this announced election fair and successful.”

Calling on organizational members to comply with election regulations, he further said:
“I call on officials and workers at all levels of the country to remove various propaganda materials within 48 hours as per the announced RPO.”

The directive comes as political parties across the country begin preparations for the upcoming national election.
