Nov 13, V7N-Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has received praise after stepping in to help a man who collapsed during a flight to Lisbon on Monday. Fernandes, fresh off his performance in United’s 3-0 Premier League win over Leicester City, was en route to Portugal to join the national squad for their upcoming Nations League matches against Poland and Croatia.

Passenger Susanna Lawson described the situation to UK outlet Business Cloud, explaining that she heard a call for help after Fernandes had gone to the back of the plane. "Bruno was holding a gentleman who looked like he was passing out. I don't know if he lost consciousness or not," Lawson said.

Fernandes quickly assisted the man, helping him to a nearby spare seat and staying with him to ensure his safety and well-being.

Portugal will host Poland on Friday before traveling to Croatia for their next Nations League fixture on November 18.
