Dhaka, Oct 24 (V7N) — Australia have reshuffled their squad in the midst of the ongoing series against India as part of preparations for the upcoming Ashes. Several players will rotate in and out of both the remaining ODI and five-match T20I series.

Marnus Labuschagne has been left out of the final ODI, while Jack Edwards and Matthew Kuneman have been called up. In the T20I series, Josh Hazlewood will play only the first two matches, and Shaun Abbott will participate in the first three matches.

Glenn Maxwell will join the squad from the third T20 match after recovering from injury. New call-ups include Josh Phillip for all matches, and Ben Darvish and Mahli Beardman from the third match onwards.

The Australia T20 squad is: Mitchell Marsh (captain), Shaun Abbott, Mahli Beardman, Xavier Bartlett, Tim David, Ben Darvish, Nathan Ellis, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis (wk), Matthew Kuneman, Mitchell Owen, Josh Phillip (wk), Matthew Short, Marcus Stoinis, and Adam Zampa.

The India-Australia five-match T20 series will start in Canberra on October 29, followed by matches in Melbourne (Oct 31), Hobart (Nov 2), Gold Coast (Nov 6), and Brisbane (Nov 8).
