Beirut, Mar 11 (V7N) – The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah is preparing for a potential new conflict with Israel, drawing on its experience from previous wars, according to a report by Reuters.
The report, published Tuesday (March 10), cited multiple Lebanese sources who said Hezbollah fighters are now operating in small units across southern Lebanon in anticipation of a possible large-scale Israeli military attack.
According to the sources, the group has reduced the use of communication equipment to minimize the risk of Israeli surveillance and electronic interception. Hezbollah fighters are also reportedly using anti-tank rockets sparingly during the ongoing conflict.
Meanwhile, the conflict in Lebanon has already forced around 700,000 people to flee their homes, creating a growing humanitarian concern. Some Lebanese citizens have criticized Hezbollah, claiming that the group’s actions have drawn the country deeper into the war.
However, an Israeli security source said Hezbollah shows no sign of backing down. Despite the deaths of several senior commanders, the organization is reportedly working to rebuild its operational capacity and maintain its presence in the region.
