The tension between Iran and Israel escalated further as Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Houthi rebels launched a coordinated attack on Israeli territory. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured the nation that Israel is prepared for any eventuality and warned that those who seek to harm Tel Aviv will face consequences.

The attack, launched late on Saturday night (April 13) local time, was in retaliation for an earlier assault on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. Iran's Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it was a response to the aggression against their consulate.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the attack involved over two hundred drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. While it caused minor damage to a military base, one person was reported injured.

The White House confirmed an emergency phone call between Prime Minister Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden following the attack. President Biden condemned Iran's actions and pledged maximum assistance to ensure Israel's safety and security.

As tensions remain high in the region, Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated Israel's readiness to face any threat and emphasized that Tel Aviv is prepared to defend itself against any form of aggression.
