London, 03 July 2024- The United Kingdom is set to hold its parliamentary elections tomorrow, Thursday (July 3). The election sees a heated contest between the ruling Conservative Party and the opposition Labor Party. According to a BBC report, a recent survey by British polling agency Survation forecasts a significant victory for the Labor Party.

The Survation survey indicates that Keir Starmer's Labor Party is poised to win 484 out of the 650 seats in the British Parliament. This would surpass the previous record set by former Labor leader Tony Blair, who secured 418 seats in 1997.

Despite being the largest political party in the UK and holding power for the past 14 years, the Conservative Party, led by Rishi Sunak, faces a bleak outlook. The survey predicts they will win only 64 seats, potentially marking their most significant defeat since 1834.

The term for the elected government in the UK is five years. The Conservative Party emerged victorious in the 2019 election but now stands on the brink of a historic loss.

As the nation prepares for tomorrow's vote, all eyes will be on the results and the future political landscape of the United Kingdom.
