Washington, D.C., August 11 – Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, U.S. President Joe Biden issued a stern warning to Iran, urging the nation not to attack Israel, cautioning that such an action could lead to widespread conflict throughout the region. Biden's remarks came during a press briefing on Saturday, reflecting growing concerns over the stability of the Middle East.

The tensions have intensified following the assassination of Ismail Haniya, the head of the political wing of Hamas, on July 30. Haniya was killed while attending the inauguration of Iran's newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran. Both Hamas and Iranian officials have blamed Israel for the assassination, with President Pezeshkian threatening severe retaliation. However, Israel has neither confirmed nor denied involvement in the incident.

In anticipation of potential retaliation, Israeli authorities are preparing for what they fear could be one of the deadliest attacks in recent memory. Preparations include the establishment of shelters and the collection of blood supplies in underground facilities. Meanwhile, Iran, along with its proxy Hezbollah and other armed groups, has threatened to strike back at Israel, further escalating the already volatile situation.
